Shannon Hart began his drumming journey at the age of 11. Practicing through late primary school and into early high school, he joined many school ensembles and theatre productions. At age 17, Shannon would go on to finish his final two years of high school at N.C.A.T. (Northern College of the Arts and Technology) and continue to hone his craft by completing his VCE certification in Music Performance. There he learned various styles such as latin, jazz, rock, metal, and funk. During that time, Shannon joined the metalcore band Furious George, recording the E.P. “Paralysis” in 2019 and playing shows headlined by many notable acts in the Melbourne metal and hardcore scene such as Pridelands and Starve.

2020 would find Shannon going to university at Box Hill Institute, completing his Bachelor in Music Performance in 2022. In early 2021, Shannon joined the death metal band Vexation where he recorded his first full length LP ‘Trepidation Reigns’ later that year, going on interstate tour with them in South Australia, Queensland, NSW and Victoria. Currently, He plays frequent local shows with his metal bands, session gigs in the indie music scene and cover gigs.

Using his extensive knowledge of various styles, Shannon is dedicated to getting the absolute best he can out of every student, catering to their individual needs and goals.
