Patrick first began playing the piano at the age of 6, and picked up the guitar not long after. Throughout primary and high school, he received training in classical performance while gaining gigging experience in his hometown of Bendigo across a range of different styles. He is currently studying a Bachelor of Music at Monash University specialising in jazz piano, as well as performing regularly with several projects in Melbourne.
Because of Patrick’s background of classical and contemporary styles, he can provide his students with a solid technique while also ensuring that their learning remains relevant to modern musical practice. Patrick has experience teaching both the AMEB and ANZCA syllabi, and provides training in music theory, aural training, and improvisation as part of his instrumental tuition.
