Billy Franes – Guitar and Ukulele Lessons

Like many of his students, Billy picked up the guitar at the young age of 8. With a keen interest in guitar centric music, Billy has developed an expansive set of skills ranging through diverse lead and rhythm styles. Putting these skills to use, Billy is an actively gigging guitarist playing an array of originals and covers in some of Melbourne’s most iconic venues. In 2023, Billy commences his Masters of Education post graduate course at the University of Melbourne where he will become a qualified school teacher. 

With a passion for music and learning, Billy instills in his students a love for the music he teaches, while also ensuring that essential musicianship skills are taught. Above all, Billy prioritises that his teaching space is one where his students feel safe to ask questions, express creativity and enjoy their time learning music.’
